Welcome to Tailor-made Woodworking Inc., your go-to service for carpentry tutoring. Our aim is to help you learn the art of manipulating wood and provide you with the necessary skills to create tailor-made pieces built by you for your home or business. We believe that carpentry is not just a craft, but an art form that can be appreciated by anyone, regardless of their skill level or experience.

How does it work?

Each week a student and I meet for a session of their preferred length (generally 1-2 hours). The student can choose between a project that they would like to build or a pre-determined one. The materials are calculated prior to the lesson and paid for by the student. As we work through the different elements we learn along the way. It is educational and fun.

Do I have to have experience?

​

No. I am happy to teach beginners and I love the idea of inspiring another person to a skill that could continue into a career or be an ability for the household. We can start with measuring and maintenance until you are comfortable moving to the machines. It is set to your pace.

Where do we meet?

​

I have a small shop space that is very easy to navigate. Do not worry about being overwhelmed by too many machines or tools. I start slowly and build your confidence.

What is your availability?

Do you do side jobs? I have a project that I want you to build.

​

As I have limited resources I am able to do small projects. I am mobile for maintenance tasks at the home.

What kind of payments do you take?

​

I prefer cash on site but I can also take all major credit cards and debit through my website bookings.
